What is EPF?
EPF is the Employees Provident Fund statement. The statement will show the monthly contribution from you and your employer in both Accounts 1 and 2.

How to check your EPF balance?
Step 1: Obtaining your i-Akaun activation code
Firstly, you have to register for EPF i-Akaun physically at any EPF counter.
You will receive an SMS with your user ID and password for your i-Akaun activation. Then, you need to activate your account within 30 days.
Step 2: How to Activate your i-Akaun
In this step, you have to activate your EPF account.
- Go to the EPF website and find ‘Login’ and click on ‘i-Akaun (Member)’
- Fill in the user ID and password that you have received via the SMS
- Create a new user ID and password
- Choose an online security image and create your secret phrase
Once you have successfully completed these steps, a ‘successful invitation screen will appear and now you can log in to your i-Akaun.
Step 3: How to Print your EPF statement
Your account has been set up and now you can proceed to download and print your EPF statement.
The next time you want to get your EPF statement, you can go through Step 1 and Step 2 again.
Here are the steps:
- Log in to your i-Akaun
- Click on “My Account”
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and you’ll find the option to print or download your statement.
